Chinesische Cracker und Händler verkaufen angeblich seit einem Monat ein “fertiges” Windows 7 auf DVD. Darauf enthalten ist eine Datei mit dem Namen “Win7.gho”. auf die DVDs wurde neben dem Windows Logo ironischerweise der Linux-Pinguin “Tux” aufgedruckt.
Die Kopien kursieren zu Preisen von etwa 5 Euro auf dem 
Schwarzmarkt.
Microsoft warnt vor dem Kauf solcher Kopien, da sie manipuliert sein und sogar schädliche Software enthalten können. Aus diesem Grund hat der Softwarehersteller im vergangenen Monat die Prüfsummen der ISO-Imagedateien veröffentlicht.
